On April 25, 2015, Foreign Minister Wang Yi sent a message of condolences over the heavy casualties and property losses caused by the earthquake striking Nepal, extending deep mourning to the victims and sincere solicitude to the bereaved families and the injured and expressing that the Chinese government stands ready to provide assistance for disaster relief in accordance with the needs of Nepal as its capacity allows. China believes that the Nepalese government and people will surely conquer the disasters and rebuild their homeland at an early date.
