Mrs. Zahra Shojaei, Head of the Center for Women's Participation and Presidential Advisor for Women's Affairs, met the spouse of Ambassador of People's Republic of China to Iran on Jun. 15. In the meeting, Zahra S. thanked Chinese women for their sympathy and aid to victims of the earthquake shattered the city of bam. Wang expressed the sympathies of the Chinese government and non-governmental organizations with the Iranian nation on this occasion. She also said that it is a positive approach for All China Women's Federation to provide aid to the victims through the Center. During the meeting, both sides reiterated the need for expansion of bilateral ties, particularly in women's affairs. On 23rd, Wang also attended the donation ceremony held in the Turkish Embassy in Tehran.
