On September 29, the Chinese Embassy in Iran and the Consulate General in Bandar Abbas jointly hosted a reception to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Ambassador Cong Peiwu, Consul General Xu Wei, Iranian Minister of Finance Madanizadeh, and other high-ranking government officials, as well as representatives from various sectors and diplomatic envoys to Iran, totaling over 300 people, attended the reception.

In his remarks, Ambassador Cong highlighted China's tremendous development achievements and the series of important initiatives and propositions put forward by President Xi Jinping. He stated that while achieving its own development, China has always been committed to the cause of development and progress for all mankind, continuously injecting positive energy into world peace and development. China is willing to work with Iran to promote the steady and long-term development of China-Iran relations.

Madanizadeh warmly congratulated the People's Republic of China on its 77th anniversary, praised China's development achievements and the important concepts and propositions put forward by President Xi Jinping, such as the four global initiatives, and expressed his earnest expectation for deepening Iran-China relations.

Students majoring in Chinese at the University of Tehran performed a wonderful recitation of Chinese poetry. The reception was filled with a festive and friendly atmosphere.
