On May 12, Chinese Ambassador to Iran Cong Peiwu met with H.E. Majidreza Hariri, President of the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

Ambassador Cong introduced China’s principled position on the current situation and stated that 2026 marks the opening year of China's 15th Five-Year Plan, during which China will remain committed to high-level opening-up, promote high-quality development, and foster win-win cooperation with all countries, including Iran. Hariri spoke highly of China's consistent and impartial stance, expressing his belief that China's continuous progress and development will bring broader opportunities to the world.
