On May 6, Chinese Ambassador to Iran Cong Peiwu met with Hashemi, Minister of Information and Communications Technology of Iran.

Ambassador Cong introduced the huge achievements of China's modernization and the powerful momentum of China's economic development. He said that China-Iran cooperation is a strategic choice of both countries with huge potential and broad prospects, which will greatly benefit the people of the two countries.

Hashemi said that China's development achievements have attracted worldwide attention, and Iran appreciates China's upholding the banner of multilateralism and sharing development opportunities with other countries. The Ministry of Information and Communications Technology is willing to play its due role in the development of bilateral relations.
