On September 29, Chinese Ambassador to Iran Cong Peiwu met with Ashkan Mombeini, the Iranian media and international relations expert. 

Ambassador Cong said that China has always viewed its relationship with Iran from a strategic and long-term perspective and will continue to support Iran in safeguarding its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity and national dignity.

Ashkan mombeini said that Iran attaches great importance to its comprehensive strategic partnership with China. In this changing world, Iran and China should strengthen cooperation and coordination.
