On August 11, Chinese Ambassador to Iran Cong Peiwu met with Ashkan Mombeini, the Iranian media and international relations expert.

Ambassador Cong said that the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) scientifically mapped out an overall plan to further deepen reform comprehensively to advance Chinese modernization, and released a clear signal to further expand high-standard opening up, which will provide new opportunities for all countries in the world including Iran.

Ashkan mombeini said that Iran is committed to strengthening strategic relations with China. Developing Iran-China relations not only benefits the people of both countries but is also conducive to regional and world peace and stability.
